THIS IS NOT STREET PHOTOGRAPHY!

Hello, I'm not sure if you want to know this, but while this is an interesting shot, I'm not sure that it meets up with deviantArt's definition of street photography. That is to say, street photography is more about showcasing candid moments of humanity in the ever changing streets of the world. So this shot, while aesthetically pleasing, does not really belong in the street category, and would be better placed elsewhere.

If it helps, some good visual examples of street photography on dA can be found in #street or #The-Yard-Collective. I'm sure if you take a longer look at the available categories, you will see that there are plenty of subcategories under Urban & Rural where this image would fit much better. I apologize if this seems offensive or judgmental in any way, as it certainly is not my intention to offend or insult. This message is actually part of a viral street photography education campaign started by `bQw, so feel free to direct any questions toward him.

In any case, I hope you take this information in the manner it was intended. Thank you, and I hope that you continue to enjoy shooting in the street.

Stunning photograph! I love how the crepuscular rays shine in between the pillars and that light at the end of the tunnel.
